Soon after the course opened in 1989, Golf Digest nominated River Hills as Best New Course, and Golf Week named the course Top 50 in the Southeast. These are two golf awards of which River Hills is very proud.

The fact that the designer of the River Hills course, Tom Jackson, enjoys playing the course a few times a year seems like an accolade to us!
